Amazing Ugo, allegedly shot by the police 5 days after his wedding.

ugo2.jpg
I write with tear-filled eyes. This is a very heart wrenching story. I had goosebumps all over my body when i heard the news from my friend who happens to be a friend to the deceased. The amazing Ugo Oduah was allegedly gunned down by the Nigerian Police, barely a week after his wedding. Sad indeed.
"Ugo went to Kings College, Lagos and later proceeded to University of Ibadan. He got married last week Saturday,15th of September. He was shot by the Nigerian Police 5 days later in front of the UPS office on the Gbagada Express as he and his friend were flagging down a taxi. The police pickup pulled up and shot Ugo twice in his chest at close range as the bullet came out his back. He was not resisting arrest, he was not arguing with the police, he was not asked to identify himself, he just stood with a friend. These policemen in uniform were drunk. The Inspector General of police has said they were not his boys"
"If they suspected Ugo he could have been shot in the leg, he should have been asked to identify himself. Not killed like an animal and left to die".
How does one begin to console the family he left behind, his mother, wife???
No woman wishes her enemy to become a widow barely a week after her wedding. Its really saddening. The woman should be on honeymoon, not mourning her husband. I can well imagine the shock on hearing such terrible news about her husband.
God knows best. He gives and He takes away as He wills. He alone can answer the 'why and how'. I pray that God will grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Congratulations girl.

Nigerian Lawmakers want 7m Pay Hike

Nigerian Lawmakers Want N7m Pay Hike

Members of the House of Reps on Wednesday, launched an agitation for a 7m increase in their quarterly allowance barely 24hrs after resuming from a 2 month recess.
It may interest you to know that each member of the House currently enjoys  N27m per quarter  as allowances, but they want it jerked up to 35m. Please can some1 remind me again what it is they do? Have you ever watched a sitting on tv before. Shameful. Its obvious that during this their 2months recess, they did not deliberate on how to move Nigeria forward. All they were thinking about was their selfish interests and how to continue to enrich themselves. The should fear God oh. It is only in Nigeria that each Senator earns more than President Barack Obama and David Cameron.
Why not increase teacher's salaries? They are the ones grooming future leaders and as such deserve it.

UPDATE: Man caught with dead baby inside his travelling bag.

On Sunday September 16th, I put up a story about a man who was caught with a dead baby in a suitcase .

Now the police is saying the dead child found inside the man's suitcase was actually the man's son. The man has been identified as an Abuja-based welder named Usman Inuwa and the dead baby as Goodluck Inuwa.

Usman admitted killing the child but didn't say why other than the child's mother left them a few weeks before the murder. Neighbours think he might have killed the little boy by mistake or while high on drugs. The police are still  investigating. Truly sad

Female student killed by boyfriend

These are indeed the end-times. The murder of Wunmi Adebayo, a student of Tai Solarin  is quite shocking to say the least.  It was reported initially that Wunmi was k*lled few days ago by armed robbers at her boyfriend’s apartment in Ijebu Ode.Well, there is a new development in the story now, as her said boyfriend has confessed to the Police that he killed her.

He just didn’t confess, but a source said Wunmi’s parents didn’t believe his story that she was shot by armed robbers, so they had to invoke her spirit (a common practice in many parts of Nigeria, particularly where the circumstances surrounding the death of a person is suspicious. When this is done, the killer is tormented by the spirit of the deceased until he or she confesses.) So he confessed to the police.

According to him, he is an armed robber unknown to Wunmi. She came to his house that day, barged in and met him and his friends celebrating with guns on their table.

She tried to run back, but they caught her, beat her, and raped her before they finally shot her. He said he had to do that so that Wunmi won’t tell anyone what she saw.....Continue to see the Pictures of the brutality below:
May her soul Rest in Peace.

She a Ho???

What started as a joke fun on twitter with the #nomakeuptuesday and #showabswednesday has today culminated into #showboobsthursday or whateva they called it. Some girls were taking pictures and twitpic-in their breasts for all to see. Some were even stupid daring enough to actually put up their faces as well. If tomorrow some guy calls you a ho, you'll likely take offence....right? Smh. How do you expect a guy to respect you when you don't even have respect for yourself! Its saddening. The way you present yourself is the way you're going to be treated. If you present yourself as ho, babe, you're gonna be treated as one.
Now back to the topic of the day, it was actually borne out frm what I saw today. Let me share it.
There's this house close to where i work and they're all guys living in one of the flats there. I always wondered what they do cos they're always home most of the time. Let me just believe that they work from home. Their age bracket should be btw 29-33. Anyways, this afternoon, I saw a girl for the first time. I have to state here that I can't see into their house, only when they come out to the balcony, which is often. But i overhear them wherever they are. Now this girl came out to the balcony with one of the guys and, guess what? They starting doing stuffs, right there on the balcony. Now let me give you a clearer picture. Their flat is upstairs and the balcony overlooks the street, so any1 passing gets to see them. I, on the other hand, where I was sitting was adjacent to their building, so not only could i see, I could also overhear them. That's how i get to hear all their gists (I really can't help it as i can't block my ears).
Back to the story, the guy  was all over the girl, kissing and grabbing her behind ( but the babe get ass sha). She was leaning on the balcony, her ass pushed backward towards the guy, with her micro-mini bandage skirt on a chiffon top...yeah, easy access. Then he pulled her skirt up and wait for this....started 'kpenshin' her frm behind, right there on the balcony in broad daylight! I don't know how they could have thought nobody was gonna see them, or maybe they just wanted audience. After a while, he stopped. The guy's friends/flatmates whom i figured were inside the house all the while, came to join them on the balcony. That did not deter them oh, they continued with their 'smooching'. The guy grabbing and squeezing d ass like his whole life depended on it, lol. Meanwhile, I was forming busy with what i was doing so it doesn't seem obvious that I was watching them. After a while, they entered the house. You can guess what happened inside, me I don't know oh.
That now brings me to my question, do you think the guy has respect for her by his actions (of course with her consent)?? I know all dem PDA's, (public display of affection), u know all that kissing and cuddling and all the romantic stuffs in public, but SEX in the full glare of whoever in broad daylight, is that romantic too?....Or does it make her a ho?
 You be the judge.

n.b - Nicki's pic has nothing to do with the post oh. last i heard, she's a virgin (dnt know how true it is).

Fifty naira fufu, but no palm oil in my soup.

Please can one make soup without palm oil?
I'm not just talking one soup oh, before you say, ehenn, okro soup nko. I'm talking all kinds of soup; egusi, ogbono, afang, edikangkong etc. Still don't get it? Let me explain.
My sister made ogbono soup couple of days ago, without palm oil.  So the soup ended up looking funny, tho it was kinda tasty (could have been better sha). But I'm the kinda person that eats with my eyes first before the actual eating. In essence, if the food doesn't look appetizing, chances are, i just may not eat it. But if i do, it's probably because the hunger was sent from my village...or from outer space. Get my drift? Back to the ogbono soup, I had thought that maybe, my sister forgot to put oil in it, but I was wrong. It was actually intentional.
I made egusi soup yesterday and she was like " ewooo, I forgot to tell you not to put oil in it". I was like huuhhh (I'm sure i had a confused look on my face). How does one make egusi soup without palm oil? How is it gonna look?? She goes on like "henceforth, no more cooking of soup with oil (palm oil or any form of oil at all)" Haba!,that's going too far nauu....don't u think? I know my sis is this health conscious person, I mean, we avoid all those things that doctors and nutritionists warn against such as frying (yh, we roast in the oven instead ) and if u wanna fry egg, you use one tbsp of oil etc, but cooking soup without palm oil is.....I don't know what to say.
So I ask again, how do u cook soup without palm oil? From the look of things, I'll soon be forced to start eating my fifty naira fufu without palm oil in the soup, except I decide to go on hunger strike.
On that note, errmmm, I wanna sleep. Waking up in 3hrs time *sigh*.
Do have a fabulous and fruitful week ahead. Please keep a positive attitude towards life....and put a smile on somebody's face.
Hugs and kisses.

Sam Bacile,The Man who made the Anti-Islam film

Sam Bacile, Man Who Made Anti-Islam Film That Is Causing Riots Is A Convicted Drug Dealer And Conman

Heard about the movie that's causing unrest all over the world?  Well, this is the first picture of the man said to be behind the anti-Islam movie that has triggered violence across the Middle East.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula – also known as Sam Bacile – was last week named by the FBI as the film-maker responsible for 'Innocence Of Muslims', which ridicules the prophet Muhammad.
The Mail on Sunday has exclusively obtained this on-set image of him with the film’s star Anna Gurji, who says she was duped by the 55-year-old director.
Nakoula is an Egyptian-born Coptic Christian. Now living in California, he  is a convicted drug dealer and conman who was last released from jail in June last year.

The film has ignited anti-US clashes from Morocco to Malaysia. Seven people have been killed, thousands injured and last night the rioting had spread to Sydney, Australia. It was also reported that Sudan had rejected a US request to be allowed to send in Marines to protect its embassy.

Topless Kate Middleton on Closer Magazine

Topless photos of The duchess of Cambridge, the one and only Kate Middleton was splashed on the French magazine, Closer, this morning  with the headline - 'Oh My God’. The  topless photos, were taken on the terrace of a guest house in Provence, France, where Kate and William were on private holiday last week.

Piers Morgan, of ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ tweeted “of course Kate’s entitled to privacy and this was a grotesque invasion, but sunbathing topless near a public road is just daft”. Daft???. This guy is mean I swear!
Inasmuch as I don’t support what the paparazzi did, I believe the royal couple should have been more careful as they were not in their country. The royals privacy is never going to be ‘respected’ by foreign paparazzi regardless of UK regulations. It’s quite disheartening for the Prince as it was this same French Paparazzi that led to the death of his mother, Princess Diana. If u remember correctly, they were chasing the car she was in with her boyfriend, Dodi when they had an accident that led to her death. We all know that paparazzi over there can go to any lengths to get controversial pictures of celebrities.
I really feel for her though. Having to still put up a smiling face for the camera after the embarrassing pictures had been published.

Football star to go on trial for torturing and killing his mistress.

Please permit me to share this story with you.

The Victim, Eliza Samudio

Bruno Fernandez de Souza (in red)

The heart of man is full of evil indeed. This young football star, a goalkeeper btw, not only tortured and killed his mistress, model Eliza Samudio, he also fed her dismembered body to his dog! That's just the height of cruelty. How can someone have the heart to do this, even if you're on drugs! Bruno Fernandes de Souza, 27, a goalkeeper, who played for Brazilian club Flamengo is to go on trial for the murder of Eliza Samudio, the mother of his love-child. According to reports"Bruno met Ms Samudio at a party held by a teammate. Unfortunately for her, they slept together that night and she later discovered she was pregnant,' Mr Moreira said. 'When she approached de Souza and told him he was the father, he became enraged.
"Prosecutors allege that Bruno planned Ms Samudio's kidnap and murder with eight others, including his wife Dayane, a teenage cousin and former detective Luiz Santos, all of whom have been charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and kidnapping"
However, he claims to be innocent. Lets see how this plays out.

Leaked bbm convo......O_O

The conversation was between a "runz girl" and her potential "client". When I first saw this bbm convo I wasn't shocked or surprised. I mean, stuffs like this has been happening before now (way before bbm....which btw makes it easier) and it'll still continue even after all the horrible stories we've all been hearing. Anyways, just read and share your opinion.

The social media....One experience too many

Hey everyone, so good to be back. I'm sorry for being away for so long. It wasn't entirely my fault. I promise to try and blog more often. I must say i missed blogging....dayuumm!

Ok lets get to the story for today. I'm sure you all heard the sad story of the late Cynthia Osokogu who was murdered by her facebook friends. Very sad indeed. What i kept saying to myself was "it could have been anybody". We all have friends on facebook, bbm, twitter etc. that we know nothing about....except of course what they tell us.....yet we kinda believe or trust them enough to go visit or hook up with them. Anyways, thats gonna be a topic for another day. Today i wanna share the story of a young girl who had an awful experience in the hands of her bbm friends. Please read in her own words and use the comments box........

"I am a girl who has fears, beliefs, reservations and just your regular typical Nigerian girl. This past few weeks has been one hell of a game for me. I have really been unsettled and I thought I share this story with you. When Cynthia (the lady killed in the hotel room in Festac, Lagos) surfaced on the internet and various news media, I was scared and it brought back a whole lot of memories to me and also served as and eye opener. Many people castigated and criticised Cynthia (may her gentle soul rest in peace), but my point is, it could have been anybody, anybody at all.We have met people through various social media. Some have ended up well, some have not but with painful memories. To cut the long story short, let me kindly share with you my encounter with social media especially the very popular Blackberry Messenger (BBM).
I am a graduate and currently serving in Kaduna. I could have runced it, but I needed somewhere to clear my head and forget about my ugly encounter. Here is my story.
I happened to have a married man as a contact on my BBM. He had been asking me out for over six months and I refused to date him. As time went on, he invited me clubbing with him when his wife was outside the country, and I went with him all night. We spent most of the night at Swe bar, Lagos.
I also met his clique of friends, married as well with their various mistresses. We had ‘mad’ fun. After all the clubbing and drinking, he lodged me in a hotel somewhere in Obalende. I felt sort of safe with him. We did not have sex, but he made sweet love to me and touched me in places I had never ever imagined.
He kissed me passionately but guess what? He did not have sex with me. We did all sorts but there was no penetration. So, to an extent, I trusted he was a good person to be around with. I did not know that it was all part of the plan.
He gave me N10,000 and put me in a cab to go home the next morning. We kept talking and chatting and sending naked pictures to each other and he told me naughty things of how he wanted to whisper things in my ear, I blushed. We didn’t see for two weeks and that was because his wife just came back from Turkey.
One faithful evening, he pinged me that he was organising a beach party/boat cruise and that he would love for me to be his date and that he wanted to open a BBM chat, as a medium for his friends and my friends to interact. I was excited about it, I just wanted to have fun. I was able to get five of my very hot friends.
The BBM group opened and we got chatting. I also realise that majority of them were married and working in reputable firms. It was fun and we didn’t mind if they were married, we just wanted to have fun, as well as some other girls apart from my friends in the group.
We chatted exclusively, sent pictures to the BBM group to introduce ourselves, and we had opened group conversations pending the beach party. And as excited as we were, we went shopping for nice sexy beach wears.
The D-day finally came, we all assembled at the Lagos Island Boat Club. I was wowed because it was a high class party. We were cruising in a boat loaded with goodies drinks and hot babes, and as well ‘MARRIED MEN’. I did not care, I just said in my mind that I would not roll with married men anymore after this, that for now, all I wanted to do was to catch some fun. After all, I wasn’t paying bills.
We got there, it was a private beach resort. Most of the beach facilities I got to see there were owned by multinational companies. We got out of the boat, and went to where we were partying. It was a duplex made with wood. It was a very nice setting.
I felt comfortable because it even had a fence around it separating it from other beach houses around. So, there was privacy and of course bouncers (heavy looking guys) guarding the place. I said to myself, this must be heaven, I must be dreaming.
Anyways, we felt free with each other because we had been chatting. It was 5:30pm and the party just started. We had drinks flowing from the private bar tender which happens to be owned by one of the men in the group. Reality struck when I realised that I was feeling dizzy and feeling really funny and light headed. Not only me, but other girls around me too noticed there was something strange about it.
I was also feeling HORNY as hell! I had been drugged. They monitored us and when they knew the drug had really gone deep into our system, they moved us up into the main beach house. I could still see faces, but was too weak and horny to react.
Mr B, the man who took me clubbing, carried me in his hands like a sacrifice and put me down on the floor just as other men also did with their girls. We were eight in numbers; 8 girls, 8 guys, and they all stripped us down and had sex with us.
I enjoyed it a bit because I was horny. It was a mixed feeling because I cried, I moaned, but I did not know how many times he came into me. He pounded me hard. I was dizzy, but he grabbed me with force. All I could notice was the wedding ring on his finger. I thought of how wicked and miserable some married can be. How inhuman and heartless they could be.
All of them took turns in switching partners and slept with all of us. I passed out. That was the last thing I could remember. I felt water poured on me. I noticed all the other girls around me too were half naked and some stark naked.
We spent the night at the beach, but the men were no where to be found. I looked round me and all I could see was packs of used condoms. I ran to pick my cloths and possibly raise an alarm. I got dressed, found my phone with an envelope. It contained N16,000 and a note asking us to take N2000 each for transport. Tears of anger and rage filled my eyes and the girls around me as well.
“We were drugged and used like tissue paper. I grabbed my phone and noticed a ping came in. I checked my phone and I noticed the BBM group had been deleted, and a message via BBM from MR B came in. He threatened me that if I say a word to anyone, I would regret it.
I told him he was a bastard, and he said try it. A picture came in, several pictures. In fact, they were pictures of us being naked on the floor. Pictures of the humiliating us but they blurred the faces of the men. In total, I got 20 pictures. I was not myself for a month.
I went back to school, I had no one to talk to. The rest of the semester was hell for me. My CGPA dropped drastically. It was the worst out of the worst result I ever had.
Till today, my friends and I have not discussed this with anyone, but all I could do when I heard of Cynthia’s story was to narrate my own ordeal anonymously and spread the news, the word, and pray they (ladies who do runs) see it and changed their ways.
I am now born again. I have given my life to Christ. I fear men so much that I cannot even move close to them. I still have nightmares, but with time, God will strengthen me and I will move on. My advice to single ladies out there is, do not be desperate for fun. Pray to God to open your eyes of understanding, and pray hard. He who kneels before God will stand before kings and queens.
To all married women, pray hard to God to intervene in your marriages and turn your husbands from bad habits and bad friends. As for me, I do not think I ever want to get married or date a man again. That chapter has been closed for good in my life.
Please, do not ignore my mail. Please post it. There are a lot of things we ladies need to learn. Please post it on your blog and save a soul. It could be your friend, sister, cousin, neighbour.
God bless you as you pass it on. To all readers, I do not care if you insult me or rain abuses at me. My job is to share this encounter with you and save you from any mishap. God bless you all. Amen".
